SyncNode Pte. Ltd. (“SyncNode”, “we”, “us”) operates the website syncnode.com and the SyncNode application at app.syncnode.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a Singapore company and handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you sign up for early access or send us a message, we collect the details you enter, typically your name, email address, subject and message. Consent for marketing email is collected separately with a checkbox at the time you sign up.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and security software record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps. This is used for security, spam prevention and to keep the site running.

Cookies. This website sets only the cookies needed for it to function and for security, plus a cookie that remembers your choices if you log in. We do not currently run third-party advertising cookies. Embedded YouTube videos may set cookies from YouTube when you play them.

How we use your data

We use your data to respond to your enquiries, to send you early access invitations and product updates you have asked for, to secure and improve the website, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run this site and our communications, including our web host, Mailchimp for the early access mailing list, and security and analytics tools. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments. We may also disclose data where required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Server and security logs are kept for a limited time and then rotated.

Your rights and choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by contacting us through the Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

International transfers

Our service providers may store data outside Singapore, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer data internationally we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
